If This is Chemical, a new original play by Caroline DeLuca, is a dramedy about four college students who sign up to participate in an experiment testing a drug that ends up wreaking havoc with their relationships, their perceptions of themselves and of each other. It explores the nature of love, and what people will do when they think that they can’t be held accountable for their actions.
The play debuted Wednesday night, 8pm at Johns Hopkins’ Arellano Theatre (3400 N Charles Street), with a second performance on Thursday 4/14 at the same time. Tickets are free, but for those who can’t make the performance, Radar Redux was there to stream to opening performance live. See below for video.
